Henna is a great way to get a tattoo and never have to worry about getting it removed, it also is a great way to add a little bit of ethnic flare to your look.

Although I reccomend using Henna anytime a permanent tattoo can still be a nice touch for tribal dancers. Be carefull to get tattoos that can compliment costumes and dance or that can be easily hidden.

Khol
I reccomend using khol for all you eyeliner needs. It has the richest, darkest color I've ever seen. It's also an authentic Mid East make-up and 100% natural.
Ear
Earrings always add to a costume
Nose
If your going for an Indian(from India) look nose piercings work great but they don't add much to other looks.
Body
The only other place I reccomend getting a piercing(If you must) is the navel.

Perfume Oil
Perfume oil is a great way to perfume the body, when done right it will last longer than any water or alcohol based perfumes.
Deoderizing
ALWAYS DEODERIZE. Always wear deoderant when dancing and make sure you air out your costumes or wash them if possible.

Any scent you like to wear can be used but there are certain scents which are more commonly used.
