Performing and Teacher the styles: bellydance, gypsy flamenco, hawaiian dance and
samba mix. I'm Brazilian and My name is Deboráh, and I´m a Belly Dance professional
dancer. Since I was a pretty girl I have an enormous passion for Egypt (Specially the XVIII
Dynasty), and that passion took me to study dance at Arabian Syrian Cultural Center,
where I learned Arabian Folk Dance (dábke) and Belly Dance (Oriental Dance, Raqs
Sharq) I joined in the Folk Group of the Cultural Center playing shows all over Brazil with
an Egyptian teacher called Taissir, in charge. I also studied Indian dance, and in the last
couple of years I had Flamenco classes, then I returned to Belly Dance because it's into
my soul. Nowadays. I traveled to Egypt four times, and last year I had the opportunity to
study with Mahmoud Reda, Dr. Farida Fahmy, Mona Said. Also in Egypt I had
opportununity to Teaching in Belly Dance Tour. I do dance, I play shows, do
choreographies for other dancers and give Belly Dance classes around of the world.
